VOX POP: A MALE CHILD AS FIRST BORN OR A FEMALE?

man and woman faces vector profiles

So i was surfing and i came across my blossom friend’s page box where he asked this interesting question and i decided to take it up so i can hear ya views. let’s see if the male has more mouth than the females or otherwise, better still, if we will all just remain neutral!

‘A male as first born or a female?’ WHAT’S YA TAKE? and let me chip this question in.. (in whispers) ‘ How many believe the female folks are stronger than the male? forget the physical!’ Winks! WHAT’S YA TAKE? DRUM ROLL!

Mauryn Nnaji Male offsprings are highly overrated. I just want kids that will be useful to them selves and the society at large regardless of their gender. Goodnight

  1. Well, I feel a male child as the first born is better cos he’ll always be on the look-out for his younger ones. Also, he gets to handle the family business and at the same time keeps mumsy company when or if popsy goes outta line.
He also keeps the family name for life unlike d gal who changes name!

    1. Taa! Keeps momsy and pop company? I thought family business wouldn’t .make him..since he is the head as you say..do you think he will keep them company? Oh my! Where are the females!

      1. Well, what I meant when I said when or if popsy goes outta line is peradventure popsy or pass away! He gets to handle d business cos mumsy will never get over him which will be a threat to the business!.
You, enny know there’s no two way about it!! I’ll tell u smthin u didn’t know abt me… I hv 4 elder sis YET I still wish I was the first born.!! Cos there are smthingz I’d put in a better and proper way like it should be done!

    1. Most of the comments in support of the male child are stating “protection” as their cause. However, what they forget is that a male child can only make use of his protective instinct if his upbringing teaches him to put his family first.

There are some male children, first borne mind you, that are just self centered and like dictators because they were just too glorified as “first borne”.

No one taught them that true leadership is about putting others first.

So my dear ” protective-male-child-first-supporters “, it’s beyond what you think.

    1. Truetalk dami!!!! But then, like you said “it’s beyond what we (guys) think. And that; still attest to the FACT dah a male child is better off as first born! 🙂

      1. That’s your opinion. It doesn’t make it a FACT. You should look out for cases that are contrary to this ‘sacrosanct FACT’ you’ve just stated.

And please, take note, women are not in a competition with men. Some so-called infallible opinion about this first borne issue are sounding that way. Women, men have their own unique roles. They are not competitors. Take note!

Finally, in order to not be one-sided or narrow in scope, the truth is any gender can be the first borne child. His or her advantage in that position depends on upbringing! Please beware!

        I remain my unique self,

      2. Brilliant! I think this sums it all up. There is no competition, each gender is unique,in fact gender roles associated with the society or culture to which one belongs has eaten into our existence such that terms like ‘the place of the woman is in the kitchen or the man is the head of the house’ used to have some kind of common ground. But thank goodness its way overboard, at least for the 21st century person that lets it. So anyone that comes should just be accepted, all other opinion are just wishful thinking which may or may not come true, though not dependent on the thinking unless of course you into ‘jazz’ lol. So if ya Y chromosome decides to say hello! Congrats! If also ya X chromosome decides to say hello! too, Congrats as well. So where are we? * big smiles and hugs* thanks a lot people! You all rock. Further comments are welcomed but the summary stands! LOL. Her ladyship ECB says so… Winks
